Many thanks to Sean Claes from INsite Austin for featuring ROXY ROCA as one of their top picks to watch at this weekend’s Old Settlers Music Festival. Here’s a little of what he had to say:

Roxy Roca has been playing around the Austin area for a few years now. When I caught them playing a small club a few years ago two things amazed me.
1. How could nine band members squeeze into that tight corner at Holy Mountain, and
2. How vocalist Taye Cannon could command the rooms attention like he was a Circuit Preacher and you had to hear the Good Word.
