Roxy Roca hat Funk im Blut und Groove in der DNA. Wer James Brown, Marvin Gaye und Jackie Wilson mag, der wird auch bei der Musik der siebenköpfigen Soulband kaum seine Beine stillhalten können. Stürmt die Tanzfläche zu ‘Try My Love’ oder groovt entspannt zu ‘I Don’t Wanna Dream No More’. Selbst den hartgesottenen Musikmuffeln dürfte irgendwann von alleine der Fuß wippen. Ende Februar haben Roxy Roca ihr Debütalbum ‘Ain’t Nothin’ Fancy’ auf den Markt geworfen, das vielleicht nicht ‘fancy’ ist, aber dafür verdammt funky.
